The Mermaid in the Basement: A Lady Trent Mystery
I honestly had low expectations for this book. Gilbert Morris is one of those authors that has books I adore and books I hate. This soon became a book I adored! Mysteries are always a fun read to me but I also enjoyed the strength of the characters. It flowed well and I never got to distracted with the romance that I forgot the mystery aspect of it.
