A place for me to share my thoughts about the books I read.
Love in Disguise by Carol Cox is one of those books that isn't great but not terrible either. The synopsis had gripped me from the beginning and I can never pass up a mystery. Unfortunately it was slow starting. It may be that I'm impatient or easily distracted but I felt that the setup stage lasted far longer than in needed to. I almost put it down several times but I stuck to it and by chapter 19 the plot had picked up so much I was definitely interested. The strength of this book was more character based. I didn't feel a big connection but I did find myself caring for Ellie and wanting to know what happened to her which helped me keep reading. Over all I would recommend this book as library read. It isn't necessarily a buy worthy book
